catBase: This is a software bundle comprising both catSite and catMap, both of which are required for catAlarm central alarm monitoring. catBase is available in both NetBSD and Windows versions (CAT-7000 and CAT-7100 respectively).
catSite The resources desktop enables operators to view, review and control the resources across multiple units at a site. These resources include but are not limited to, cameras, domes, IO devices and recorded data. Operators control site resources by means of custom control panels. A software joystick provides intuitive, sensitive control of dome cameras. Camera Live and Review content displays within the same camera image display, providing a seamless camera timeline from oldest recording to the present (live). A tabbed interface provides quick access to multiple site desktops.
catMap Objects on a map are interactive. Operators open and close doors, activate sirens, track intruders, and send live camera views to display areas on the resources desktop. Customisable tool tips and comments provide for quick information on map resources. Operators can hide objects and/or layers and increase / decrease their transparency to simplify the map display.
