The PSP-1200 is a 4-port asynchronous, communications add-on module that is hardware and software compatible with the Digital Surveillance System (DSS) range of hardware, version 5039 or higher, using NETBSD 1.5.1 or higher.
The PSP-1200 is inserted into a dedicated connection port on the DSS PIO-1000 input/output module. The advantage of this intuitive approach is that it alleviates the need for an additional PCI slot.
ISO-1002 Serial Port Surge protector
The ISO-1002 protects the PC internal circuits, including the PSP-1400 RS422/485 module, from high voltage transients and surges induced in the external RS422/RS485 lines.

This protection is achieved by galvanic isolation plus Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) devices.
Requirements:
The ISO-1002 is electrically grounded to the DSS by means of the screws that hold it to the DSS chassis. This requires that the screws be firmly fitted (not finger-tightened).
The DSS must be case-bonded to the building earth by means of a suitable conductor.
TVS performance depends on good earthing.
IOX-1000 8ch Input & Output module

Delivered as a kit, the IOX-1000 includes two PCB modules (Rear Panel I/O Assembly Interface) and a ribbon cable for connecting the rear panel I/O interface PCB’s to the PIO-1000 (I/O Card). Each kit provides eight Inputs/outputs. The modules are mounted in the case at the rear of the DSS-6000 and have a detachable header connector. The wiring to the I/O interface is terminated at the header and fastening is by means of screws. The inputs and output functionality that the IOX-1000 enables is summarised below: Inputs:

Each ESP-1204 device enables communication with four RS232 devices via an Ethernet backbone. The ESP-1204 has 4 serial ports and is powered via PoE.
